This shampoo bar smells great, lathers up nicely and doesn't make my hair feel stripped. I like the fact that it doesn't count towards my liquid allowance on a plane. Plus shipping a dry product like this means less shipping cost and the manufacturer is able to resources into making their stuff actually better.
It’s amazing how shampoo bars can work so well. Just get your hair wet then rub this bar across your hair once or twice. You can quickly build up a good lather and start washing your hair as usual. The results for me was smooth and soft hair with a good moisturized effect.
The Tree Bottle natural shampoo bar comes in an eco-friendly cardboard tub. The bar takes a little effort to achieve a lather, but once you get it, the shampoo cleans your hair really well. It seemed to strip out the natural oils, though. I think that the best use for this product is travel, where you don't want any spills, or having to carry liquid shampoos. For this purpose, you'll need to get a new container, as this carboard tub isn't going to last more than a few uses if you place the wet bar in the tub without allowing it to dry first.
This is a pretty good shampoo bar. It smells a little on the sweet side though I'm not sure that I'd recognize citrus if it didn't mention citrus on the box. It's more like a sweet scent that reminds me of vanilla somehow.
The bar is a good size. I'd say it is average shampoo bar size.
It lathers well when I use it, so that's a plus too. It leaves my hair feeling soft and my head clean. I did use conditioner afterwards which is totally normal for me since I have long and difficult to handle hair.
Some of the writing on the box is far too small to read. I also don't see how many uses one gets out of this, it is usually mentioned for shampoo bars but not always. Judging by my first and second use, I'd say there are many uses left.
I plan on leaving the shampoo bar in the box it came in and I put a little sand on the bottom of the box and then a small screen on top of that.
This is a fantastic shampoo bar. The scent is divine. The natural ingredients and essential oils have such a fresh, clean citrusy smell. I love it. So does my hair. My hair feels so clean. I love the eco-friendly packaging and it makes it handy to take on trips because you have no leaks or spills, like with shampoo bottles. It also takes up very little space. Overall, I am happy to add this to my routine, and will definitely recommend the Tree Bottle Natural Shampoo Bar - Organic Citrus Mixture. It is truly a great product.
This thick round shampoo bar is cruelty free, vegan and made in the USA with orange, tangerine, mandarin, lemon, bergamot and grapefruit essential oils, vanilla and kaolin clay, sorbitol and other natural ingredients.
The bar lathers well, has a pleasant, light scent and a slightly grainy texture, making it easier to hold. Simply wet the bar, rub it gently through your scalp and work the lather through your hair. I'm over 50 with rather frizz-prone, dry hair and had good results with this shampoo bar, (although no noticeable reduction in frizz after the first use), with my hair feeling clean and soft.
It's really easy to use and much better for the environment, I would love to also try a conditioner bar. The scent was much less noticeable while using the shampoo bar, though, as opposed to how nice it smelled upon first opening.
The eco-friendly packaging is a plus- when the bar is done there is no plastic bottle left to recycle. It's also convenient to carry for travel because of it's size and being that it's not a messy liquid. Time will tell how many uses can be gotten out of it, so it's a little difficult comparing to my bottled shampoo in that regard just yet. But it was my first time trying a shampoo bar and I'm hooked! Would recommend.
This Tree Bottle Natural Shampoo Bar is okay, but just isn't for me, personally. It came in a neat, lidded cup package that was shrink-wrapped in plastic. The scent is an interesting blend of citrus and vanilla. This lathered okay, but after washing my hair twice with this, my hair still didn't feel as clean as I prefer. My hair was particularly oily after having worked outside in the yard, and this didn't feel as if it had completely cleaned my hair. But I will add that it appears that this is supposed to be a shampoo AND conditioner bar, according to the info on the product page and pics. I usually don't choose shampoo/conditioner combos, for this reason and because I tend to have oily hair, so I will say that this bar performs well for what it is, "gentle cleansing". I'm taking away one star only because the conditioning facet of this bar was harder to discern from the product page info (see the current product page picture 6 down from the top that lists part of the ingredients).
So I have never used a shampoo bar before, but I've seen plenty of ads to be intrigued.
It came in a small tub, similar to an ice cream container and it smells like a mix of orange and oatmeal.
I wasn't sure of the best way to use this bar so I just used it like I would if I were going to use it on my body. I lathered it up in my palm as well as rubbed it on my head. It takes a little bit to lather it up in my hair, but once it got going, it was really pleasant. It rinsed out really well and it made my hair feel silky and clean.
I have used this bar 4 times and keep it dry when not in use. It has noticeably gone down in size, (see photos) but still has plenty of uses left. The ad states this bar should last as long as 3 bottles of shampoo. I'm thinking, for me, it will be more like 1 bottle.
The price of $16.99 is a little expensive, but it works well and feels good, so it might be worth it.
Lathers up easily and my hair feels clean. The clay gives it an interesting gritty feel. Has a pleasant subtle orange oil scent. I would give it 5 stars, but the paper container came shrink wrapped in plastic which kind if defeats the point of using bar shampoo. It wasn’t very much plastic though, so still better than shampoo in a plastic bottle.
Great for traveling—no security check on solids, and no spilled mess in your bag
Tree Bottle Shampoo Bar for Girls - Pink Magic - Hydrolyzed Oat Protein - All Hair Types - Tear-free & gentle on sensitive eyes - Solid Shampoo Bar - 4.5 oz (Pack of 1)
This is my first experience with a shampoo bar, and I am glad it was this one. This says it is for girls, but I figured it would work for me as well. It is made in the USA and has all natural ingredients. The shampoo bar smells amazing. It took a minute to lather up, but once it did, there was a lot of it. When rinsing it out, my hair was actually squeaky clean. I did not use conditioner, as I wanted to rate it on his own. Even without using conditioner, my hair was silky soft after. Not only that, but my hair still smells great. Perfect for girls, but totally works for anyone.

This Shampoo Bar is amazing! It smells soooo good and lathers up like crazy. It works really well to shampoo your hair as the description claims, but it also is great for shaving your legs and my husband even used it to shave his face. I said it smells so good already, but it really, really smells awesome! And bonus it doesn't dry out your skin, definitely worth it and I would buy it again for sure.
This shampoo bar comes nicely, packaged inside of a thin cardboard container that is durable enough to put the bar back into after you’re done using it. The shampoo bar itself works up a nice lather to make it easy to be able to wash your hair. The ladder rinses out cleanly and is gentle on my sensitive skin. It left my hair feeling nice and clean without stripping it’s moisture. This pink magic shampoo bar has a nice light scent, and I am definitely pleased with the results.

This plastic-free shampoo bar has made bath time both fun and sustainable for my little one. The fizzy green color and mild, fresh scent instantly appealed to my child, while the aloe vera and oat protein formula gently cleanses without irritating sensitive scalps.
I love that one 4.5oz bar lasts months, replacing multiple plastic bottles. It lathers surprisingly well and rinses cleanly. My only minor complaint is it can get slippery when wet, but the included tin solves this.
For eco-conscious parents wanting to reduce waste without compromising quality, this delivers effective, tear-free cleansing kids love. It's simplified our routine while teaching environmental responsibility early.

This shampoo bar smells sooooo good! I have loved using it in my hair. It makes my hair and scalp feel clean and there isn't any residue left behind. It also lasts a really long time.

This shampoo bar lathers really well compared to others I've used, but I hate the way it makes my hair feel. After rinsing it feels dry like straw and tangles easily, kinda disappointed.
This review is for tree bottle shampoo bar.
Some quick notes and observations through a few uses.
- very hydrophillic, loves water and staying wet, which means you need a mechanism for allowing the soap to dry (this goes for soap in general, like using a soapstandle)
- lathers really well with our softened water, not tested with hard water
- smell is highly subjective, it's not my cup of tea but it's not vile
- seems to leave skin feeling fairly clean, not heavily drying, not fatty-layer moisturizing (those never really work)
- have not tried with hair (due to the fragrance), and suspect using this for everything (hair and full body) is going to cause it to get used up very quickly. Sometimes that makes sense, if you have specific needs, travel, and don't want to use hotel-issued soap/shampoo.
